Dogwood Canyon is located close to Lampe, Missouri and the trails take runners through both Missouri and Arkansas. This is truly a perfect trail race with rocks, hills, mud, streams and more. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing as the race goes on rain or shine and the temperature can be freezing or in the 70's. Please be prepared for weather conditions and dress accordingly.
The Trail Runs
Each trail run is unique, but all runs will share some of the same territory. The 15K has one aid station while the 25K and 50K have 3 to 5 aid stations. The courses are hilly and somewhat rocky, providing our runners with a physically challenging and satisfying experience. Parts of our trail run course at Dogwood Canyon are only open annually, especially for our trail runs, making the participants of this world-class event amongst the special few who are granted access to these majestic and hidden areas of the canyon. After their first trail run with us, most participants make our exclusive Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series Dogwood Canyon Trail Runs an annual event. We love our runners!
The North Face Trail Run Challenge
Runners will be able to complete the 15K on Saturday and choose either the 25K or 50K on Sunday, accomplishing a personalized challenge. There is an additional challenge medal for all runners who complete the challenge. The medal will be received in addition to the race medals for both trail runs completed and in addition to the finisher's prize for completing the 25K or 50K. Challenge Awards: Top three male and top three female overall; masters male and female.
You must complete the 25K, 50K or the Challange to receive The North Face jacket. If you cannot run for any reason, you will NOT receive The North Face Jacket.
