About Rock4Kids Series

Being physically active is one of the most important steps to improve overall health and wellbeing for adults and children.  Kids need physical activity to grow up strong and healthy!  Staying physically active is  an important step in promoting positive physical and mental/emotional health.   

The Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series and the Missouri Beef Industry Council have partnered together to bring the Rock4Kids Series to the Springfield area.  We believe it is important to encourage children to participate in physical activities that are appropriate for their age, engaging and fun!

The Bass Pro Shops Fitness series has a NO REFUND policy.  Refunds will not be given for any reason.

2025 to 2026 REGISTRATION TRANSFER

Our 2025 Zombie Run was cancelled due to lightning.  As a result, we moved 2025 online Zombie Run registrants (who did not pick up their 2025 Zombie Run packet) to our 2026 Paint the Run.  All registrants will receive confirmation emails from the Fitness Series with pertinent information. Previously registered Zombie Run participants will receive their Zombie Run shirts instead of Paint the Run shirts at packet pick up.  All 2025 Zombie Run SPARC students held their events at school and received both their shirts and medals.  These registrants were NOT transferred to the Paint the Run.

Race Distances

0.25 mile | 0.50 mile | 1 mile | 1.5 miles
Participants can choose their distance based on their age and skill level! Participants do not have to run their distance.  Walking is encouraged and welcome.

Parents caregivers, guardians, friends or other family members who want to be on the course with their child must be a registered participant.  Any person on the race course, other than a staff person or volunteer, must be registered as a participant.

Packet Pickup

Paint the Run packet pickup is available on Friday, April 24 from 5:45 - 6:15 PM onsite Truman Elementary. If your children are in the SPARC program, they will receive their packet the week of the event at school during their normal SPARC time.
