Can you rock The Rock? Come join us for our 3 and 6 mile runs at Top of the Rock in Ridgedale, MO where you will challenge your endurance and mental grit while experiencing exhilarating, scenic views you won't find anywhere else. The 6-mile course is one of the most challenging, rewarding runs you will ever complete. Best for experienced runners, this course was not designed to be someone’s first 6 mile run. While most of this course is asphalt, be prepared to run over several different surfaces including, but not limited to, gravel, road, trail, wet rock, metal bridge(s), water and dirt. While this course is hilly and challenging, participants will experience waterfalls, a cave, scenic overlooks and absolutely beautiful surroundings. Spectators will have limited viewing options along the course. The best spots to cheer for your runners will be at the start and finish lines.
RUN THE ROCK 3-MILER
The 3 mile course will share a lot of the same terrain as the 6 mile run. You will get to experience waterfalls, caves and absolutely breathtaking surroundings. This 3 mile run is perfect for those who are new to Run the Rock or want a challenge that provides the perfect combination of beauty and exertion.
General Information for Run the Rock
- Participants must be 16 years old (6 Miler) 12 years old (3 Miler) on or before race day.
- Online registration will close when sold out or on Wednesday, September 3, at 5:00PM.
If registration is not sold out, we will provide registration during packet pick up on Thursday, September 4 . - Registration will be capped at 600 participants for the 6 mile run and 300 participants for the 3 mile run.
- All Run the Rock Finishers will receive a finisher's medal; early registrants will receive Run the Rock shirts.

Participant Amenities
We are excited to announce that Under Armour will continue as our presenting sponsor for Run the Rock, 2025! Run the Rock race day shirts will be provided by Under Armour. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your size request, but sizes are not guaranteed. Those who register early will have the greatest success in getting the size they request. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt.
NO EXCHANGES of shirts will be allowed until after the race on Saturday, September 6.

Personal packet pick-up with picture identification will be required.

Run the Rock Lodging
Big Cedar Lodge, Ridgedale, Missouri, is located next door to Top of the Rock. Award Information
The top 2 male and female overall winners will receive awards as will the top 2 female and male age group winners. Runners are not able to win more than one award. If you win an overall award, you will not win an age group award. Runners under the age of 16 years old are not eligible for awards. NO EXCEPTIONS. Overall awards will be provided at the completion of the races; age group winners can pick up awards at the awards table.
Map Route
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be located approximately every two miles. Porta-Potties will be located near the start/finish line. Water and Powerade are offered at each aid station.
Start & Finish LIne
The start line is located right next to the Top of the Rock Golf Course and Arnie's Barn. The finish line is located inbetween the Top of the Rock Golf Course Welcome Center and the clubhouse. We will have volunteers providing direction. Please arrive 30 minutes early to give yourself enough time to park, walk up to the start line and use the rest rooms. Portas are located between the start and finish areas in the employee parking lot. We advise people to car pool as there is limited parking available.
Medical & Emergency Support Services
Mercy Health System is the medical provider for all Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series events. Our Medical Director is Dr. Landon Hough, Mercy Sports Medicine physician. Dr. Hough and his team of physicians, athletic trainers and EMS services will provide medical care for our participants.
Time Limit Rules
Both courses have a time limit of 1.5 hours- the courses close at 8:30 AM. Every runner and walker will receive finish line amenities and Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series staff and volunteers will be on hand to greet every finisher that completes the event.
Award Information
Runners are not able to win more than one award. If you win an overall award, you will not win an age group award. Runners under the age of 16 years old are not eligible for awards. Awards are provided in 5 year age ranges, with the top two in each age range receiving recognition.
